Love, Bonito launches its first-ever mobile pop-up experience – Manila Bulletin

It was during the pandemic that many businesses realized the true power of e-commerce. Going digital has helped many people survive the effects of COVID-19. While this was new exploration for brands at this time, some harnessed the powers of e-commerce years before the pandemic hit.

Since its inception in 2010, the brand has been one of the go-to online stores for ultra-feminine pieces for many shoppers in different parts of the world. This month, the brand is bringing its mobile pop-up series dubbed Love, Bonito on Wheels to the country. From November 5 to December 18, the mobile pop-up is set to showcase the brand’s multiple collections at various locations in Metro Manila.

“This pop-up series is launched in recognition of the Philippine market’s demand for a physical Love, Bonito experience. While online shopping has seen a massive boom in recent years, we understand that our consumers now want to be able to enter a store and physically experience the brand beyond their screens, alongside the LBCommunity momentum that has grown in the Philippines,” says brand manager co-founder Rachel Lim. “Love, Bonito On Wheels is more than “A pop-up store for us is an experience for women to be able to discover pieces that help them look and feel their best, and to have the confidence to live their best life.”

‘Come to Yourself’

The launch of the mobile pop-up also echoes the brand’s new slogan, which is “Come Into Your Own”. It has always been part of Love, Bonito’s mission to empower women. With its new vision, it now aims to celebrate women’s personal journeys of self-discovery.

To further highlight its initiative, the brand invited former Editor-in-Chief Jillian Gatcheco and actress Coleen Garcia (its first-ever Filipina Ambassador) to talk more about starting a new chapter in their lives after achieving their dreams.

“I quit my nine-year job at Summit Media in January this year and took a three-month career hiatus. During that time, I filled my days with activities I never had the time for. time before,” said Jillian, the former editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan Philippines. “I felt healthier and happier because I’m finally dedicating more time to my well-being… I recognize that it’s a privilege which I worked hard for. So I stopped being guilty of taking a break.

Jillian became a member of Love, Bonito’s family when she starred in a campaign for her LYLAS collection, featuring a series of delicate bridesmaid dresses. Giving up her dream job and following another path is tough enough for Jillian, but being part of the campaign made her feel like she “was on the ‘right’ path. »

“Coming into yours isn’t just for those who have it all figured out in their lives,” she said. “It could also mean starting over… It’s not so much the destination, but a decision to stay true to the choices we make and just constantly evolve.”

Like everyone else, a lot has changed for Coleen during the pandemic. The model-listening actress became a mother. Thanks to her new role, she began to see life from a different perspective and gained new strength after struggling with the issues of being a public figure.

“If you feel like you got lost, just remember that you can always start over from any point in your life,” the actress said. “For me, I feel like I’m still in that space. I relearn to know myself, but now, without the outside noise.

His advice is to stop viewing the reboot process as an indicator of past failure. “For so many years, I wasted time believing what other people had to say about me,” Coleen said. “When you thrive, that’s the most beautiful feeling. You discover that everything in life can be so beautiful when you let things fall into their place and don’t let others rob you of your joy.
