Tre Boston to co-host new ACC network show

The former UNC football player is now set to begin a new football-related journey as he will co-host a new ACC network show.

Although he won’t be dressing up this season, former UNC football player Tre Boston will be very busy during the week.

The 30-year-old will co-host “ACC PM”, a brand new show on the ACC network. Joined by host Mark Packer and co-host Taylor Tannebaum, the trio will air weekdays from 4-7 p.m.

“ACC PM” will focus on ACC football even during the offseason. According to reports, the show could hit the road on select days (possibly weekends) to college campuses to cover some of the conference’s biggest matchups.

Instead of playing football for about three hours, Boston will now talk sports for that amount of time throughout the week. Known as an outspoken person during his playing days, Boston got his first taste of broadcasting last year when he did local television and radio work in the Charlotte, North Carolina, area. while also making a few appearances on the NFL Network.

When asked about this new opportunity, the former Tar Heel believes it’s a perfect job for him.

“I was made for this job. I love it. My biggest thing is that I want to continue to be informed, to bring energy and to have fun. I want people to see my energy through the screen.

Aaron Katzman, the ACC network’s coordinating producer, also explained why he thinks Boston is a great fit to be part of this new show.

“Tre has a personality that makes you smile and resonates through the screen. He’s very personable. He’s full of energy, great fun…And that ACC and NFL pedigree brings with it a respectability factor. .

The reality is that football careers don’t last forever. For most guys, they spend a few years in the NFL and then have nothing to fall back on.

After a rather successful seven-year career, Boston just isn’t ready (or old enough!) to retire into the twilight. Instead, he has found a new passion and seeks to share his knowledge of ACC football with anyone who decides to watch this new show.
