MACON, Georgia – The end of summer in Central Georgia was eventful with lots of rain in places and fantastic sunsets.

Let’s take a look at some of the highlights from our 13WMAZ Weather Network Facebook Group!

Beginning southeast of Macon in the Bleckley / Dodge / Pulaski area a few clear clouds in the distance as the sun sets in the sky. Thanks to Tami McGraw for posting her photo.

Not too far away in Rentz, Carlene Marie took a long exposure photo Tuesday night as the sun dipped below the horizon. Fantastic picture, Carlene!

In County Bleckley, Ronnie Giddens saw a lot of rain which caused puddles to form on his bridge. This is from the storm that triggered a flash flood warning to the east on Monday.

From the same storm complex, flooding was recorded in the Eastman Walmart parking lot. Thanks to Stacey Attaway for sharing her photo with us.

A reminder to all drivers, you never want to drive on flooded roads. Just 6 “of moving water could wash your car away – turn around, don’t drown.
